I find myself constantly performing for an audience even when no one is around me. In addition, it is so much easier to be seen in today's social media driven culture. All of us are constantly checking to see how many "likes" we have on our facebook, instagram, etc. I know that much of social media is not about showing off our "acts of righteousness" but I wonder how much of the need to be "liked" and "approved" seeps into what we do...
